Private Practice
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Wisconsin and a graduate psychoanalyst of the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.
Education
After my doctoral training, I completed additional years of specialized training to become a psychoanalyst as a graduate from the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute in adult psychoanalysis. I received my doctoral degree (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. I obtained my master’s degree (M.A.) in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I completed my APA-accredited doctoral internship at Rogers Memorial Hospital in West Allis, Wisconsin and post-doctoral training at Cornerstone Counseling Services, Inc. in Waukesha, Wisconsin. My successfully defended doctoral dissertation is entitled Group Psychotherapy: Utilizing A Single-session Process Group Approach with Inpatient Adolescents.
Experience
I have clinical experience at all levels of psychological care. This includes inpatient settings, intensive outpatient (IOP) settings, and outpatient settings. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and groups. I provide psychotherapy to adolescents and adults and treat a wide range of emotional distress. As a psychologist and psychoanalyst, I specialize in working at the deepest levels of the human experience, often with painful patterns with roots that reach back into one's own life history that affect how we view and feel in the present.
